Snow is expected over Nova Scotia today giving 10 centimetres or more over much of the province.
Nova Scotia Power is gearing up to respond to another winter storm that is forecast to bring inclement weather to communities across the province overnight and into Thursday.
A developing low pressure system south of Long Island will approach the Maritimes and track across eastern Nova Scotia Friday morning.
Nova Scotia Power currently has 48,000 customers without power. As of 6am, power was safely restored to 70,000 customers who lost power due to the major winter storm that hit the province yesterday and continued into this morning.
