Mar 21 – Nova Scotia Power – Update

A note from Nova Scotia Power on March 21, 2018:

Nova Scotia Power is gearing up to respond to another winter storm that is forecast to bring inclement weather to communities across the province overnight and into Thursday.

We are monitoring weather forecasts and we have secured contractor crews from Nova Scotia and New Brunswick to assist us with storm restoration. Today, we are pre-staging crews across the province so that we can be prepared to respond to outages as quickly as it’s safe to do so.

Throughout the storm, and until all customers have power restored we will be available to answer any questions or concerns you may have. We are encouraging everyone to be prepared. There are safety tips for review on our webpage – www.nspower.ca/stormready

As always, our number one priority remains the safety of our crews and customers. Our Customer Care Centre has been in touch with customers on our Critical Customer list. Please consider whether you have constituents who should add themselves to this list.

In the event of an outage, customers are encouraged to visit our outage page http://outagemap.nspower.ca for updates on estimated restoration times. They can also call our outage line 24/7 at 1-877-428-6004 or follow us on Twitter and Facebook.
