In July 2021, the initial planning phase for a commuter ferry was announced and that the province would be partnering with the federal government and Halifax Regional Municipality for the study, which will include the concept design for the new terminal building, site access, and site design.
Recently our councillor Tim Outhit shared an update on plans for a passenger ferry from Bedford to downtown Halifax. The article gives you a first look at the plans for this project.
