This Session in the House of Assembly
In the House this session, I introduced three bills: Bill 58, The Homes for Special Care Act (Amended); Bill 60, The Long-term Care Recruitment Accountability Act; and Bill 74, The Free Intrauterine Devices Act, which would provide free IUDs for Nova Scotians who are unable to afford them.

When it comes to reproductive health, people have the right to make their own choices – especially around contraception. But the reality is that for many Nova Scotians, a lack of financial resources is a barrier to that right.
Provincial funding opportunities: sports, recreation, and trails
The province provides funding to facilities. Community-run rinks and other recreation facilities can access funds to help with capital costs.
