I raised issues of concern to our riding during Question Period and Budget Estimates in May. The video below is a short clip of a 40-hour-long process that sees ministers defend their departmental budgets for four hours at a time. It can provide a useful look into the inner workings of government. For example, I asked the Minister of Health during discussions about estimates whether the government plans to extend hours at Cobequid Community Health Centre. One of her caucus colleagues raised this issue when they were in opposition, and I wanted to know if it was now implemented in the government policy.
