Newcomers to Nova Scotia are invited to participate in a job fair Wednesday, July 20, at the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 in Halifax.
The free one-stop job fair will connect newcomers to the jobs, communities, and settlement services they need to build a life in Nova Scotia.
The job fair will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. with exhibits from about 40 employers from different regions and industries in Nova Scotia. Representatives from the Department of Labour, Skills and Immigration, Nova Scotia Works, Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia, YMCA, Ukrainian Canadian Congress, and the Department of Community Services will also be there with information on services and supports and how to access them.
