COVID -19 UPDATES

The COVID-19 virus represents a threat to our province not seen for many decades.

Our response as a province to this global pandemic is guided by the work of the Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Robert Strang, and his team. They are the experts.

Every weekday at 3 p.m., Premier Stephen McNeil and Dr. Strang hold a news conference to update Nova Scotians on the medical situation, public health measures that are being undertaken, and assistance for those affected by COVID-19, They also answer questions from the media. (There is usually one news conference on the weekend, and news releases update Nova Scotians on both days.)

You can watch the daily news conference here: https://novascotia.ca/coronavirus

That’s also where you can find the latest news and information on the situation here in Nova Scotia. You can also see past news conferences on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLwLZ9YtgHtLCpATUVFKVf72xyF103eHaE

I also post provincial updates on my Facebook page daily. You can find me at @kellyreganns ; please “like” or “follow” me to get the posts in your feed.

While my office is practicing physical distancing, you can always reach out to kelly@kellyregan.ca with any questions or concerns you may have during this time apart. You’ll receive an acknowledgement email immediately. Volumes are currently quite heavy, but we do our best to answer your questions as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, please stay safe and follow the directives from Public Health. As the Premier says, we’ll get through this, as long as we look out for each other.
