The site of the two new schools on Broad Street has been cleared. The Request for Proposals (RFPs) for the design and construction of the new pre-primary – grade 8 school and the grade 9 – 12 high school have closed and the bids are being evaluated. Halifax Regional Centre for Education will communicate with parents on programming, catchment areas, and more this spring.
Meanwhile, for the first time, every four-year-old in our community will have access to this free, universal program this fall.
