Nova Scotia Power currently has 48,000 customers without power. As of 6am, power was safely restored to 70,000 customers who lost power due to the major winter storm that hit the province yesterday and continued into this morning.

Crews are safely working to restore power outages caused by strong winds and blowing snow affecting approximately 16,000 customers, primarily in HRM and the southwestern areas of the province.
